My stomach hurts if I have coffee with any milk in it. I found this out in the 70s - it took a while to link the 2. I’m not lactose intolerant, except for that combination

O they are! My sisters still bring it up. They know the kind of person I am. Turns out it’s a genetic trait, or at least there’s a strong familial correlation. 🤣🤣

It really did start off as them misunderstanding us. We may have allowed that to play out a “little”

Many times. Mate and I once told my sisters we were going to the drive in. They wanted to come and despite our saying not to bother got all dressed and made up.
Off we went to the drive-in picked up a dozen beers and drove home.
We never mentioned a movie— don’t know why they were angry🤣

Are you thinking of the Halloween lights

Best way to hide the result is to eat it. Kids’ll lap it up. Younger kids will lick it up.

I gave up guitar in 1975 or so, because wife 1 didn’t like me playing. Picked it up again as I walked out the door for that trip, thinking I might give it another go. I rarely go a day without playing now. I have 3 “gigs” (I use the term very loosely) in the next few weeks

We made it there for that festival, but there was no room at the inn. We were just on a trip round AUS, and didn’t realise it was on at the time. Love a good bit of mandolin. We did catch Luke Plumb at Newstead the year before.

What I like about them is that they remember their oaths and still stand by them

According to my late father, WWII was pretty gritty anyway

I bought a flash one for my partner on her birthday. It was NOT her main present, just one she liked

Piggies can also be vicious bastards, but not as deliberately cruel as that prick

A friend worked as system engineer for a large international company. Working in a casino at one time and the admin password was something like “123456” which gave him access to EVERYTHING on the system.

I have been helping dead head the roses today. One still manage to spike the tip of my thumb through my leather gloves. The might be silent, but they’re vicious bastards

Stay out of my music room. Most of my stuff is acoustic, and there’s one guitar that gets gets 90% of the use

My Saturday consists of buying bagged soil to top up the level of the small composted bed I dug last week. Also buying a couple of compact red rose plants to plant there in about a week’s time. Then going to my music club to play and sing for a couple of hours.

Yes! I see that now. It’s not one I’ve ever seen or used, so I didn’t look carefully at the size of the hole

I don’t think the building itself is the major issue. I think the biggest problem is that this lord of bad taste plans it as a monument to his humongous ego.

How do these wealthy donors have the wherewithal to donate millions to a folly, yet not enough to pay decent wages
