...for nearly 2 decades, was arrested as a 'foreigner' and deported. He died inside a cattle car heading east.
Brutal? Yes. Does that action still reverberate seven decades later? Yes. Was he welcomed until a new regime told him he was no longer welcome? Yes.

I should add the 'WTF?! is happening' was from those of us watching. None of us knew they were trick candles, we watched as the flames on the mass of candles just kept getting bigger!
