This morning I spent some time with a delicious matcha latte and my iPad at Café Zoi (where I will be painting live next week) and created 2 new outfits for my new portrait creator (see portraitsbyjunyi.com).

A Sunday filled with homey, family things. They’re the best. In our family this looked like lots of drawing and painting, Lego building, UNO gaming, Mario Kart racing, and cycling to get my weekly croissants 😁 What was your Sunday like?

Who else finds fairy lights make the winter more magical?

I recently started a 30-minute mindful session before properly starting my work day. It consists of my favourite things—morning coffee and writing lists. Do you have a morning routine?

The matcha latte is a fairly new introduction to Hoorn, which is why I order it wherever I can. I love its colour, and that I can drink it without sugar, which makes me feel healthier. I love a good cappuccino too, but I often need to add sugar to it.

The idea of working from cafés is a romantic one. I like it, I just never needed to, having a quiet home to work from, and as it turns out, prefer the quiet to the bustle, after all. I can only get admin work done in a café, but the real creativity and focus comes from quiet surroundings.
