Little Cassidy has his surgery and is recovering well. He and his brother Iggy are racing around getting into mischief, and having 3 legs seems to have increased his speed! He’s tired and napping on my shoulder now.

My annoying foster kittens (6 wks now) still insist on bottle feeding. I’ve tried having them lick stuff off my finger or spoon, I put kmr etc in saucers, I’ve tried dry food & cat treats but they continue to demand I squirt food directly into their mouths. Suggestions? #kittens #fostercats #catsky

Happy V-day. I have bronchitis and James has been romantic enough to take over kitten feedings for the past couple of nights so I could sleep more. And he brought me cough syrup and chocolates. He is a prince among men.

Exhausting day. Constipated kittens, poor babies! Non stop belly rubs and diluting down their milk seems to have helped a little (I was already giving them pumpkin). Plus Cassidy’s stump started bleeding 🙁. I’m monitoring for now, may have to go to the vet tomorrow. #catsky #rescuekittens

Good news: my injured kitten, now named Cassidy (as in Hopalong) had the remains of his back leg removed by the vet. He is doing very well, he & his little brother Iggy are eating, squirming & squeaking around quite happily! Proper amputation will happen when he’s older. #rescuekittens #catsky

Well I was having a relaxing Saturday night at home when I got an emergency call to pick up 3 newborn orphan kittens…I’m now waiting impatiently, listening to their squeaks of hunger, for their supplies to be dropped off!! Poor hungry babies!!

I’m one of thousands of people who have been left jobless by all the upheavals in the LA (Hollywood) entertainment industry. At this point I need work and as long as it’s legal and pays enough to live on I’ll be happy. Spent the morning applying for things. Cross your fingers for me! #JobSearch

I lived in the UK until 1992, which made me ineligible to give blood in the US (which was infuriating, but that is a rant from yesteryear). I just found out that they changed the rules so I can give blood now. Signed up to donate platelets tomorrow!!

I’m inconsistent with social media posts and none of them seem to hold my interest, insta fails cause I don’t remember to take photos…the rest cause I never feel I have anything interesting to post, and when I do, I have better things to do than write one…so yeah. I’ll try. We’ll see.
