Frederick Anderson was in net for the Canes last night and did not perform well enough to deserve future starts. The Canes have not performed well in his starts as well . It's not all on Freddie but his ability to come up with a big save is just not there.

With Rod gravitating towards certain players and the Canes leading after two periods in three consecutive games the Canes needed there best possible defensive deployment and Rod didn't do it.

Jackson Blake was elevated to the Aho line is really not capable of playing top line minutes against a quality opponents. Blake was on ice for 6 goals in last two games as Rod continues to use Blake in top deployment against heavier teams.

Canes on the wrong end of a 5-2 score giving up 5 goals in the third period. Part of the problem has been Rods ability to make adjustments against heavier teams , adjusting player minutes as well as using deployment properly.
