Mackenzie engaging Lulu with a some scientific calculations, while Jack continues to study his map with little success. Mackenzie being a good sport about being beaned in the head, walking it off with Rusty and Dusty. Mackenzie happily encouraging chaos from an energetic Muffin, blowing away Socks while Bluey and Bingo watch on. At the end of the day, Mackenzie rides home alone. No little siblings like his other friends. It makes him feel... a certain way.

Fortunately, Twilight also has the best assistant a researcher can have. Spike helps keep the peace at the library and does the bulk of the information gathering that's requested of him. Which means interacting with the more "interesting" characters around the city.

Spike encounters the Cutie Mark Crusaders on the street, the trio making and selling pottery potentially without a permit. As Spike crosses his arms and listens unconvinced, Apple Bloom refutes his accusations, saying "Listen here, we have a perfectly legitimate business operation, permits and all! Feel free to check the books yerself, library boy!" Sweetie Belle seems to be a bit stricken by the dragon, while Scootaloo is still focused on spinning clay.

Keeping all those tabs open means a lot of cloistering away in her books, to the annoyance of library patrons and coworkers. Maybe she should ease up on the studying, but who knows? What if there really is a mare in the moon? And how long will be before she returns...?
