Not legal answers. Not facts. Not accountability.

Just a file of attacks and instructions to smear Sheldon Whitehouse, pivot to “dark money,” and even drag Epstein and Reid Hoffman into unrelated questions.👇

It’s performance.

Nice to see Sen. Gallego and Kelly going to bat for Adelita Grijalva, as they and everyone else should be.
Speaker Johnson is stalling her swearing-in because her vote would help finally reveal the Epstein files.

Good on Kelly & Gallego!

Johnson is holding the country hostage. Arizona sent Adelita Grijalva to represent them, but Johnson’s refusing to swear her in until he gets his way on the shutdown. Blocking a duly elected member is fascist blackmail.
Ripping away healthcare while obstructing justice.

“Legal Orders” and Trump’s Military

Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

Her day one promise is to be the tie-breaking vote to release the Epstein files.

This is an important interview. A couple stopped and profiled by border patrol comes to a realization: who they voted for lied to them. It takes courage to admit it, and more to go public.

Trump is now calling for the arrest of elected representatives checking his power.

JB Pritzker and Gavin Newsom are doing something new and important: They understand Stephen Miller's theory of fascist power politics, and they've developed a theory on how to combat it. More Dems need to reckon with Miller's understanding of the moment.

New from me:

Inside Stephen Miller’s Secret Plan to Normalize Trump’s Dictator Rule
He wants to supercharge searing civil tensions to get low-information voters to embrace their inner authoritarian. Exactly two Democrats appear to fully grasp this.
