Update NL: No trains on main tracks. No busses in my region, Schiphol cancelled hundreds of flights. – This is a week of fairly normal 'winter' weather with a few flakes here and then. I am cufused as to why everything is shut down.

Well, anyone can and should fingerprint and certify their content – using Liccium.com or other tools. Instagram and other platforms cannot do this on behalf of the creators and publishers for their works or AI system providers, making available the slop to the general public.

Why shouldn't they? Any declaration of a fingerprint will be digitally signed together with a claim (metadata): AI slop or original creative work – both can be relevant information.

ISCC is a content identifier/fingerprint that has little or nothing to do with blockchain. The codes can be digitally signed and published together with provenance metadata (and C2PA manifests), see e.g. Liccium.com.
