• B for bulbs - Sutton Seeds, started as a corn merchant in 1807 and later specialised in seeds and bulbs
• B for beer - William Blackall Simonds founded the Simonds' Brewery in 1785 in a building designed by his architect friend, Sir John Soane
• B for biscuits - Joseph Huntley moved to Reading in 1811 starting a bakery that by 1841 became Huntley & Palmers

Day 2 of @postmedarch.bsky.social conference in Lisbon, hosted by the wonderful Maritime and Archaeology museums. Our maritime session starts the day in the maritime museum exhibition hall. Speakers themselves becoming exhibits amongst the boats for passing tours!
