You are correct. I was a hospice nurse at that time and saw young people dying of aids in nursing homes because their families disowned them and they had no one to care for them. It was a terrible time.

I think Trump got played, he came off as a bully and Zelensky was never going to get a deal with him. Trump isn’t getting any minerals and no concessions for Putin. But now Zelensky has strengthened his help from EU, they have a reason to help Ukraine win this war.
