None of these kill the game, it's still quite good and even improves Prime in some aspects but it hurts when the issues are so obvious and could have been fixed so early. Cut the NPCs and the desert and the game is instantly better

The bike makes for some fun ideas inside levels but the desert is underdeveloped. Cut it or make it more important, like the ocean in Wind Waker.

It's a quite-good game marred by weirdly obvious issues that point to lessons unlearned. Corruption should have proved that yappy NPCs are bad for Metroid, but Beyond makes them yappier. Other M should have proved that a male NPC unlocking your abilities feels icky (this one REALLY sticks out)
