I really appreciated district mayor @claraherrmann.bsky.social’s speech emphasizing we were already part of the community & Friedrichshainers/Kreuzbergers regardless of citizenship, and welcoming us as new Germans. Taina Gärtner of the district parliament also spoke, and a student jazz group played!
