My child missed “perfection” by <3 hours last year for 2 Dr appts. We figured surely they would acknowledge near perfection - he was so heartbroken. This yr he has given us firm instructions that any appt must be outside of school hours & he is *determined* he will be healthy.

So much more on point than the opening act with all the silver and color-changing lights at 8AM.

So far I only seem to be able to embrace biographical or auto-biographical audio books. My son loves fiction on long car trips and I really have to push myself to follow.

1. Realizing that everything I read did not have to have a deeper purpose related to being a social studies teacher
2. Libby. I often now have 4-5 books going based on mood & focus level as well as an audio book & can pick up whichever/wherever
3. App time limits = intentional consumption

Unless we’re working on maps! Then please make sure pencils with a plethora of erasers abound!!
