And while that's a real shame, I ultimately think everything that happened was worth it, because even when things didn't go well I learned a lot.

I think most people I've seen play it really enjoyed the demo, which is great! Every compliment really made my day, whatever that day was.

And there's definitely room for improvement. I want to make sweeping changes to tutorialize the game more, because some people just didn't get how it worked.

Also, a very niche boomshoot just left early access. Hyperviolent is for the kind of sickos who think that a fusion of the original DOS System Shock and Descent 1 sounds like a cool idea.

There's almost no concessions to modern, slick & polished game design. This is trying to evoke real retro vibes

You definitely need character models.

But no joke, once I got my bearings with how to animate and imporvit properly, it only took ~3-4 days of casual work to make one scene. And that's including crazy camera movements and such.

Definitely doable! You'll get there!
