I can only assume that the CEOs of huge companies and leaders of foreign governments who continue to bribe Trump while getting tremendous benefits and breaks from the govt think that Republicans will stay in power forever or Democrats will forgive and forget.

Global oil trades in US dollars (that's our superpower). When we sanction countries like Venezuela or Iran, they use other currencies. Our solution? Force regime change, install new leaders, negotiate dollar use. Just lifting sanctions would be way easier.

I hope voters make them pay for all of Trump’s corruption, incompetence, lies and malfeasance. It is only made possible by the acquiescence and cowardice of Republicans in Congress, so they are the ones who should be held accountable for all of it in the short term.
