My son just finished 7 years of service as a Marine. I have said the same. Thank God. For me,

I understand what you're saying. I personally couldn't stand the constant reminder of who and what it represents. Also seeing it overshadowing the people’s house. For me? Hard no.

I find it hard to believe that reputable journalists don't know that. It takes less than 30 seconds to find the information. Do better!
