Tattoos that are compasses, lanterns, countdowns of mana/HP (in code probably to foil enemy combatants). Built-in tattoo charms for persuasion or stealth etc. should be easy to get but expensive.

Maybe magic tattoos that give haptic information, like Sting' blue glow when orcs are about but this is a little vibration in your tramp stamp.
