Omg I meant to rant about this! My wife ordered it last night and it had 2 PICKLES. Not even enough to be divisible by 3!

I've been to Italy twice now. I've marveled at the architecture of Florence, Venice, Verona, and Rome. The air of history and the structural masterpieces. I wandered through a castle turned into a museum. And then I came back to Canada :/

When I first worked in the food industry it was a weirdly popular game to play "Can we finish doing the naughty thing before the food arrives?" and honestly, it was usually pretty close to a tie.

Oct 2023 the bursae in my right knee ruptured but we didn't know the extent of it. Took months of testing and such. I had a cane, now I need a brace daily. Yesterday had a similar sensation in the left knee at work, but shifting my weight onto my bad knee hurt that one more.

back in 2006 I moved to Toronto by myself. I had no job lined up, just 6 months as a pizza maker, my FoodSafe, and a few catering gigs. It took me maybe 3 weeks of hounding the local pizza place to get hired as a cook? and then that spiraled into 12 years in kitchens

Or companies that expect you to complete a 6 month unpaid internship to be considered for an entry level position. I truly have no idea where these expectations have come from. I've got mid 20 year old friends living at home because they financially can't get a foot in the door to an apartment

I know we are in a digital age and its great, but the overwhelming lack of entry level jobs is so confusing to me.

boomer that sounds, and I know times change, but even now the attitude is kind of different from the desperation. A lot of people walk into my store with resume outstretched saying "Can I leave a resume?" and I remember being taught to be more forward with a "My name is ___ and I want to work here"

In my experience us creative types take a little harder than some :P
