Once in the jungle a fire began. The animals ran. Except for a hummingbird who a Jaguar saw head to the fire. The Jaguar asked what he was doing. The Q'inti said "I'm getting water to douse the fire" The jaguar said, "You can't put out this fire!" The Q'inti said, "I'm small but I'm doing my part."

The central image is from a petroglyph in the jungles of Mesoamerica some see a serpent I see a map with mountains and rivers. Maybe it's both or none? Petroglyphs are one of the few human creations that still manage to mistify and instill a sense of wonder in most people who encounter them.
