I dip in once a week to check on some people I’ve followed for years but my visits are shorter and shorter because it’s such a right wing echo chamber of lying racists egging each other on.

I actually always thought his “dark bond” interpretation would have worked better if the movies had maintained the high camp of the Connery and Moore bond movies. The Living Daylights kind of did, but Licence to Kill went full on straight action movie.

I was literally watching this movie when you posted this. It, and Dalton’s interpretation of James Bond, were criminally underrated. Licence to Kill had some script and plot issues, and Robert Davi and Talisa Soto couldn’t act their way out of a paper bag, but this was still a solid Bond entry.

I was literally watching this movie when you posted this. It, and Dalton’s interpretation of James Bond, were criminally underrated. Licence to Kill had some script and plot issues, and Robert Davi and Talisa Soto couldn’t act their way out of a paper bag, but this was still a solid Bond entry.
I’m sure the distinction was a relief to Ron Goldman’s family.
