I think that just leaves music! Music has always admittedly been a blind spot for me, and this year I didn't really listen to much at all in retrospect, but I got to see Halsey in concert which was really amazing and I'm definitely looking to expand my tastes more in future :)

Online series were massive for me as always. Unstable Universe completely took over my attention this year, but Jet Lag continued on as something I look forward to each week, AYADU relaunched as The Pod Universe, and Jon Bois released another incredible documentary!

TV's been surprisingly big for me, it never really has been before but I was unemployed for a good chunk of this year and it let me truly dig into some wonderful series. Unfortunately I think only The Pitt is releasing new episodes this upcoming year, but I hope all of these return for more seasons!

This year I really stopped reading superhero comics, which has really caused my comics reading to decline, but I still read some really solid series this year! Looking forward to pushing my indie reading further forwards in the new year!

I gotta read more prose books, I feel like I'm always saying that but it's really always true. Despite feeling that way, I actually read a good number of pretty good books this year, both fiction and non-fiction! I fell off a bit later this year, but I'm optimistic about getting back into it.

This was a year that I really devoted a lot of time to movies, and it really paid off! I've easily watched some of my favourite movies I've ever seen this year, this is just a short selection of what could be a much longer list.

I didn't really play that many video games this year, but I've had a lot of fun with the ones that I've gotten to. Recently started the Resident Evil series, so looking forward to seeing some of those games on next year's review!

With all that being said, going to start my fiction recap with RPGs! This was a big year for tactical fantasy for me as I started to figure out what sort of playstyle can click for me in a genre that I've often struggled with. Looking forward to playing more with all my friends in the new year!

Now, it is true that this ballot only really features movies from the past few years... that's because I only really started watching movies seriously the past few years, and I recognize I have to watch stuff older than that soon, but with that being said, here's that NYT list everyone's been doing.

Some tabletop games! This year I ran a campaign of Girl by Moonlight, the first one I've ran in a while! The others I only played in rather than ran, but still had a great time! Thanks to all my friends who played with me in these!

The bridge of "This Is Your Life" by The Killers is legitimately one of the pieces of writing that I think about most. It just reflects so much of my philosophy so well in so few lines.

The bridge of "This Is Your Life" by The Killers is legitimately one of the pieces of writing that I think about most. It just reflects so much of my philosophy so well in so few lines.
