I understand your point. But similar situation could happen when someone could say that they feel hurt whenever you leave the house, even when going for groceries (benign action like asking for weather). So hurt is used to control when you can and cannot leave your house.

But couldn't that be the same case for hunting? Cheating is a subset of hurt. I just mentioned it here because I had multiple discussions where people tried to justify their bad behavior

And on similar note. Cheating is when your significant other feels cheated. And not some arbitrary rules what counts or does not count as cheating.
