Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:

1. System prioritizes revenue over learning
2. Oversight collapses & students bear the risk
3. Aid becomes a debt trap rather than a bridge
4. Burden is shifted entirely onto the student

Shake off all the fear of servile prejudices. Fix reason firmly in her seat. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason that that of blindfolded fear.

We must strengthen the ability of free nations everywhere to develop their independence and raise their standard of living, and thereby frustrate those who prey on poverty and chaos. To do this, the rich must help the poor and we must do our part.

People tell me if I don’t like Missouri, I should leave. But, it’s a nice day and the breeze is blowing. I’m sitting in the side-by-side watching my donkey get his hooves trimmed by a local farrier.

I’m not leaving because of GOP authoritarinism. It’s my state too, and I’m tougher than they are…

Every gun, every warship, every rocket fired signify a theft from those who hunger & are not fed, those who are cold & not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone; rather the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.
