She lives on in her babies who are in your care. We had an orb weaver who would meticulously cut down her own web each morning, and rebuild it to perfection each night. They are fascinating to watch.

My friend was feeding a cat, took the cat to vet for shots, THEN scanned for chip, and discovered the cat belongs to another Vet! She left the cat there for cat-owner vet to pick up. Cat is back at friend's house now...
