200 out of 207 Democratic House members voted against it. I hardly think that counts as Democrats voted to fund ICE. And since then, Senate Democrats have forced the DHS and ICE funding to be separate.

Looks like things are happening in the Senate with threats to shut down the bill resolution if ICE/DHS are not affected. We shall see.

He doesn't have power to shut down the gvt. That was a budget that required agreement with others. As Senate Minority Leader, Schumer cannot just shut things down outside of that.
He can vote, negotiate, and try to rally his caucus. But the Republicans have the majority so that’s it.

The other interesting thing - Jordan lies about Hutchinson. The key point that Jack Smith mentioned - she was not testifying to what SHE saw. She was testifying to what others told her. That does not make her a liar.
