Countering misinformation about public health based approaches to the prevention of sexual abuse. Anti-censorship, anti-fascist, pro-LGBTQ+.
No he wasn’t. Talking about pedophilia with nuance doesn’t make you an advocate for it.

INHOPE is not a coalition of prevention organizations but a coalition of CSAM reporting hotlines such as NCMEC, and you can’t be kicked out of a group that you were never a member of.

How is it not true? The report linked in the article in you screenshot contains actual FOIA data showing this trend clearly: a significant drop in prosecutions of real child abusers coinciding with a rise in prosecutions over content such as cartoons. You are wrong to wave this away as unimportant.
January 5, 2026 at 7:58 PM
If it is true that resources earmarked for prosecuting real CSAM cases are being diverted to prosecute victimless obscenity crimes and that this is letting real sex offenders off the book, how is pointing that out pro-pedophilia in any way? Surely it’s the opposite.
January 5, 2026 at 7:25 PM
No, the reason why it’s not true is firstly that he resigned way back in 2021, and secondly the smears you’re repeating against the organization were never true. Honestly kind of gross to spread them simply because you disagree with a movie review.
January 5, 2026 at 7:20 PM
My posts are all about correcting misinformation about CSA prevention, such as what you are spreading here by mischaracterizing the nature of that group.
January 2, 2026 at 11:21 PM
Which of their public statements do you find so reprehensible? With links to their actual website or social media, not to TERF smear websites that misrepresent its actual policies.
January 2, 2026 at 6:15 AM
Someone on an open forum posted something gross, more news at 11. Read what Prostasia itself said though official channels. There are five years of social media posts and thousands of words of blog posts, and nobody has been able to find anything really objectionable in them.
January 2, 2026 at 5:28 AM
No, because it doesn't check out. The person who joked about trapping kids, and the forum on which he did it, had nothing to do with Prostasia whatsoever. The TERF site's basis for claiming otherwise? That two unrelated accounts had the same common username.

Fact-check: misleading. They never suggested that child sexual abuse should be tolerated or destigmatised. They simply attempted (but failed) to popularize the expert consensus that that same stigma should not attach to those who have unchosen attractions that they choose not to act upon.
January 2, 2026 at 4:02 AM
A CSA prevention group actually, that although notorious on social media due to misinformation, was always respected by peers and experts.
January 2, 2026 at 3:52 AM
You are quoting from a smear site. There were plenty of legitimate public health experts involved from the outset and throughout, including women and trans experts.
January 2, 2026 at 3:48 AM
The organization didn’t do anything wrong and neither did Noah. Its was was absolutely mainstream and in line with what other CSA prevention experts and organizations do and say. Look at Talking for Change, Moore Center for the Prevention of CSA, etc. The backlash against its work was reactionary.
January 2, 2026 at 3:46 AM
If by “that” you mean the prevention work that Nosferatu posted, the answer is yes. The Johns Hopkins school mentioned there was a collaborator. Unfortunately people took it all the wrong way and the rest is history. People really don’t want to hear that CSA is preventable or to think about how.

Never suggested it.

The research being undertaken on these devices does consider both positive and negative potential impacts. There is really no downside to promoting scientific research.
December 9, 2025 at 1:16 AM
I support them. What’s your stance on bullying people so hard they attempt suicide? (Not me, I don’t care at all what bullies say - but many trans and queer young people have been bullied into self harm by the likes of you.)
December 9, 2025 at 1:13 AM
So it’s even more important important to research whether they could be used for prevention, since adult sex doll owners do have potential legal sex partners, which exclusive pedophiles don’t.
December 9, 2025 at 1:09 AM
I mean, I have made the same terminological point as you many times (including today), but at a certain point it’s just bashing your head against a wall and you have to meet people where they are in order to communicate with them.
December 9, 2025 at 12:55 AM
It will never be legal and nobody is suggesting it ever should be.
December 9, 2025 at 12:43 AM
They advocated and raised money for research into whether the dolls could be used in prevention. Here is some of that research. www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....
Exploring the Psychological Characteristics and Risk-related Cognitions of Individuals Who Own Sex Dolls
The ownership of sex dolls has become an increasingly controversial social issue over the last five to ten years, with many in society (and academia) calling for the criminalization of such dolls. ...

I agree it doesn’t, but most people misuse it that way.
December 9, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Mainly because of online abuse from people who believed conspiracy theories about it being pro-abuse. Read for yourself direct from the source: prostasia.org?na=archive&e...
