There’s something really magical about getting to replay a game from your childhood that you only remember the major story beats from. Rediscovering all the little things along the way is like falling in love with the game all over again. The Lunar: Silver Star Story remaster is an absolute delight.

As a long time fan of Lunar: Silver Star Story, I’ll be the first to admit that there are a ton of problems with the Working Designs localization, including artificially pumped difficulty and humor that aged very poorly. Good riddance to that rubbish.
That said, I’m SO glad they kept this bit in.

So excited to have nabbed a physical copy of the Lunar Remastered Collection! They really are foundational games for me and I couldn’t be more pleased that a whole new generation can experience them. The original PS1 versions are up there with Xenogears and Star Ocean 2 as gems in my collection!
