The United States is entering a long season of growing pains, and will ultimately be forced to look at what it has done and have no other options but to face the consequences and make some changes.

It does, unfortunately. You can't go around acting like your 💩 doesn't stink, committing some of the worst crimes and atrocities against your own citizens and others, having the nerve to stick out your chest as if you are so great, and not inevitably face the consequences of your actions.
