I guess it's about time I introduce myself. My name is Basil (he/they). I'm a writer, and photographer inspired by all things creepy, old, and a little unsettling, as well as the natural world. Come and stay awhile, I have a few projects in the works, that I am very excited to share with you!
I've been playing around boats again, dreaming of getting my feet wet, and feeling the sun and wind in my hair. Much like whales once did, my bones are remembering the water, feeling it's pull. And in my own little way, I am returning, even if just to float just above the surface.

Chapter 2.
So I’ve been in this house for a couple weeks, and I’m not sure if it’s sleeping on a mattress on the floor, or the fact I’ve been living off instant noodles and energy drinks, but my dreams have been really weird. I remember seeing visions of this house, but not in this state, like in it’s renovated state. Or maybe it’s original state, it’s hard to tell.
