I read, and I hit the beach. Dave provides the tunes, and the Avs score the goals. Vote blue - don't let the fuckers get you down!
Finishing up Maurice's final toast on Christmas morning - listening to the audio and following along has immersed me in his life all the more! Niall Buggy's Irish brogue does the trick.

Hey, Booksky! Watch for the impending release of Adriana Trigiani's latest novel, The View From Lake Como, on July 9! It's an ideal fast and easy summer read.

I just finished Atmosphere and I am just floored. I can't stop thinking about how brilliantly the love and anguish were put to page. I have not cried over a book in years, but I bawled like a baby all morning. Truly moving. I recommend it completely.

It's Independent Book Store Day!

If you can't afford it, I get it. Just skip Amazon's book sales today. They're killing off local business. Having no local bookstores would be awful!

Aspiring reader struggling with the cost? PLEASE reach out to me. I read 250 books/year and spend maybe $50.

Amazon's book sale crashes Independent Bookstore Day—and readers are pushing back
Indie bookstores planned a national celebration. Amazon planned a book sale. Now, the battle for readers' attention is on.

Amazing that without even mentioning a name, EVERYONE knows exactly who it's referencing.

100 years later, 'The Great Gatsby' still speaks to the troubled dream of America
Great works of art are great, in part, because they continue to have something to say to the present: They're both timebound and timeless. And, boy, does Gatsby have something to say to us in 2025.

My front-runner for book of the month for March is Queens of Crime. But there are still over 24 hours left so who knows what will happen! 💙📚

🚨🚨🚨🚨

Not a SINGLE Democratic senator should vote for the Republican spending bill. Doing so would simply further embolden and empower Trump in his effort to destroy our government and the vital services it provides.

STAND YOUR GROUND AND FIGHT — LIKE HOUSE DEMOCRATS DID!!
