Well my cat chewed through the wires of the tree so I guess that’s Christmas over now. Almost made it til midnight without a meltdown this year. So close.

In other news, my mom who does know what I love as an adult bought me this beautiful NYC ballet nutcracker tree topper even though I told her it was too expensive so it’s still a good Christmas.

My brother who can’t be bothered to learn what I like as an adult got me a Harry Potter eyeshadow pallet for Christmas so I guess it’s time to go find a trans rights charity to donate money to.

I was living as a foreign student in Scotland during the independence referendum and the amount of fear and uncertainty those of us on visas felt during that time was horrible. But I think what I felt then must pale in comparison to what immigrants must feel in the US these days.
