I love Sagar's web project and the book is a marvel -- his intros are esp wonderful and really challenge the tradition narrative about Indian public discourse in this period. They complicate Indian anti-colonialism and nationalism so well.

Chaiyya Chaiyya is truly a brilliant number, Mani Ratnam, AR Rahmam, SRK, and Farah Khan (the choreographer) in top for. The movie itself (Dil Se) is, I think one of Ratnam's best, superior to the other two in the trilogy.
