The very good news is that while I was writing this, I got a call from my husband's doctor, and he said the surgery went very well. That's really the most important thing. But I could have done without the drama. If you read this, thanks. I needed any one person to see it.

Anyway, long story short, I've had to pay another $112 in addition to the $4700 we paid today for the surgery. Also, IKEA has decided today is a good day to deliver something to our storage unit, and the people at the office are only there until 6pm, so I have to have a friend go pick that up.

Luckily, my husband sent me a link to the exact thing I need and where to buy it. So I'm instacarting a Car Battery Jump Starter to myself at the surgery center. No idea if the thing comes with a charge, so I also had to order a wall plug for it.

This is the fourth time this has happened. Three of those times were this week. It seems to relate to cold, and I have heard from another Hyundai owner that there may be a recall related to this that I missed. It's the small 12V battery that is the problem in the cold.

Since my phone battery was getting a little low, I decided to hang out in my electric car to charge it. Had the car in Accessory Mode (so on, but not DRIVING on), was watching a movie on my laptop and charging my phone. Car goes fully dead and won't start.
