Not something I expected to find gathering dust 2+ years after release!

Last is the single barrel! Around 5 years old, 128.1 proof. Very buttery on the nose, not as dark. Rich on the palate, not as much burn as the Cowboys. An oaky Snickers bar. Candy sweetness that sticks around on the finish. Easier sipper than the other two due to proof. Still holds a nice richness

Next is Cowboy ‘24! Again at least 8 years old, 140.2 proof this time. Nose is buttery cookie dough with a little burn. This one coats the mouth a bit more. Palate is a more bitter oak, darker tobacco. Maybe more barrel influence on the ‘24? Finish brings up sweet tea like ‘23. Another great one!

Starting with Cowboy 2023. At least 8 years old, 140.9 proof! Nose is sweet tea and sawdust. Ethanol burn is there but not as strong as you’d expect. Palate is VERY sweet. Oaky with tobacco and brown sugar. Burns, but again not at the 140.9 level. Finish brings the sweet tea back. Such a good bottle
