I can imagine a version of Vis'Aza that was able to fan the flames of that spark, rather than just mollify the anger.

I'm such a sucker for happy stories - thinking about how a Viscoxite could help a guide their host to achieve dreams. But it's a lot easier to remake those dreams into "good host."

Utterly delightful. My humanities-brain is already thinking of how the Viscoxite work as a metaphor for the "always knows best" advertising self-help culture we are mired in. But honestly just the idea of "how much of you is you, you have to change - you can't be unchanged by life" is so good here.

Please don't feel like you need to reply to my musing/questions. I'm just being a sci-fi nerd about this ⚫🩵🦝

Absolutely hooked on the idea. Curious how much knowledge is passed onto the larvae before they bond with a host. Currently musing on the the idea that adopting and integrating some traits from their host is normal, and Viscoxite-Aza is absolutely a reflection. (If that's not supposed to be obvious)

Been weeks and I'm still thinking about the Viscoxite. I'm fascinated by the interpretation of an extra-dimensional existence, and that they need a host to meaningfully occupy the third-dimension. What would be the effect of losing that dimension of perception? This is some truly eldritch sci-fi. 💯

3 End-of-Day Donut Holes, coincidentally too close together so Disney sues them for looking like Mickey-mouse?

I think I get the reaction. It's not just a poser trying to get into the scene. Buying into the marketed aesthetic of culture as person-brand-identity is particularly insulting to a community that has fought for authenticity and legitimacy for decades. Thanks for the time - it's been a good think

If it is just the shared culture and experiences, by all means. I'm just curious because Punk seems to have endured well beyond what "capitalism kills everything" does to cultural movements experience.

And I'm not trying to be an asshole or gotcha with this question- sorry if it comes off that way

Genuine Question - What do you feel is at the core of Punk?

I've mulled over the question - and it's clearly not just the counter-culture mindset, or the reaction of anger against a rigged system. But it is clearly "something," and it feels like it's more than a shared culture and scene.
