All valid points, thank you again for taking the time to clarify! 🙂 Didn’t hear about UNAC keeping y’all from helping but tbh that makes sense, we knew many of you would’ve. Sounds like I’m on board, I’ll reach out!

(3/3) I do think I’m more ideologically aligned with unions in general than you, but I love your broader goals & I’d love to get involved with your efforts, but would be hesitant if your goals include weakening UA unions — would you mind speaking to that?

(2/3) (action which is not legally supported by or connected to the union), so from my perspective, we aren’t limited by the parameters of the union, but rather, it allows us the opportunity as a community to move both within and outside of it to fight for our rights.

(1/3) Thank you for the respectful & thoughtful reply! ☺️ I see why you feel frustrated by the legal & structural limitations of unions. I’m grateful that AGWA @UAF has created the “scaffolding” of organization to allow for organic planning & direct action on many fronts…

I never had a twitter but always wanted to when you’d read me your tweets. I can’t wait 😍

If you don’t mind sharing: why position yourselves as against UA unions? I understand you don’t see unions as the solution, but couldn’t you seek to create a broader organizing body & still support those organizing through unions? We’re all fighting for the same thing, we could work together 🙂
