I think it's pretty obvious he's full of himself and probably believes himself to be a genius, but he doesn't strike me as stupid.

Agreed. People hate Elon so much they don't want to believe any positive attribute he has. Is he a genius? Maybe as a salesman and executive, but very little evidence in code, math, or science.

Sadly it was. And bad in the cold with pretty low range. I wouldn't say it was a great EV platform or anything, but think eventually those need a giant truck guys will need an EV too.

Yeah, they're hopefully doing a Maverick like EV, and I believe that's their plan. I just don't like them cutting out an existing EV considering the F-150 is by far the best selling vehicle in the US.

She's following years of polling not just the recent surge of anti-ICE sentiment (that hopefully doesn't go away). For ages deporting migrants has been very popular, sadly. Those are the polls I was referring to, and where HRC sees the political majority she still courts.

Ford also cut their F-150 Lightning EV rather than improve it. Sad, because we're going to need all the cars to be EVs within the next decade regardless of the Orange pants shitter.

Obama has been such a disappointment in the Trump years. He's so gifted as an orator and politician, I feel he could have made a major difference had he been leading the opposition to Trump all along. Instead he's sidelined himself. His right, but I don't have to applaud him for sitting out.

That's Autopilot, not FSD. And even with FSD you can't trust it 100% quite yet, but it's gotten amazing the past year or so, and continues to improve.
I understand the Elon hate and sympathize, but autonomous driving will be a life saver and the technology is exciting despite his involvement.

I love me some season 1 and half of season 2 Twin Peaks was genius, too. The Showtime reboot was awful. Perhaps a proper editor could have cut down by like 75% and come up with something inspired.

I'm excited for the Rivian R2...which will eventually have LIDAR. I've been shocked at how well vision only has worked as current FSD is amazing, imo (but not perfect yet). But to tbc, Tesla trains its models with LIDAR data, but the production deployment in consumer cars doesn't have it.

I think the conservatives get correct is that I think we should be mindful about what has led to Western development. ...however, they fight against the "secret sauce" of openness, free markets, secularism, science, and democracy, and instead seem enamored with patriarchal Christian white supremacy.
