If anything, you probably *want* to exclude candidates who won't want to work for you because you're too woke. That type of attitude is heavily correlated with incompetency.

I don't know how easy it was to get into an ivy/MIT/Stanford for today's 50 year olds, but it's no longer enough to have a high GPA, high test scores, standard extracurriculars, etc. Those'll still get you into your flagship state school, but that's about it. Lot of bad advice coming from that gen.
