This sounds like it is a problem with inexperienced HR people, not untypical in HEIs due to poor pay, bad working conditions and low job security. If you are named in the proposal there is no requirement to advertise, and you have IP. Has your institution had MRC awards before?

I find that 30s of hairdryer and its ready. body heat does the rest. its all about avoiding that ‘jump into a cold swimming pool’ feeling. nice to know others have had the same idea!

Whether you answer yes/yes or yes/no it seems you have to send all your materials up for review/approval by a clutch of senior people who ought to have better things to do. Go for it!

Isn’t the TRO process that the decision has been made to do something unless reasonable objections are made, so support is unnecessary? The consultation allows people to say ‘wait a minute…’.

you can be 100% certain, but this doesn’t mean you are correct (I often am certain and wrong). They also need to consider what ‘works’ means - i.e. relative to base rate, correctly identifies more cancers than false alarms.
