Very worthwhile initiative, with rather depressing results. Here’s a taster: if you’re Scottish and are interested in language or literature, you’re essentially screwed unless you can get into one of the ancients or are happy to leave (and can afford to do so).
Map of higher education provision for English Language and Literature and for Linguistics in the UK, excluding higher-tariff institutions. It shows basically no options for students in Scotland.
