I’m so angry & heart broken. My NSF CAREER grant was stolen today; dream project supporting science teachers/students as climate justice action researchers, tackling urban heat. Truly transformative, the culmination of my life’s work, we won’t stop, not in this climate crisis. Gonna fight like hell!

As a parent/educator Adolescence is the most important series I’ve seen. As a mom of boys, Ep1 is excruciating. As a prof, Ep2 captures toxic social media/masculinity/Andrew Tate culture middle school teachers warned me about. It’s intimate, gutting, profound, essential, so deserved all those Emmys!

I teach pre-service science teachers about race/biology/genetic - pseudoscience is the foundation of systemic racism. This is my 8th year, we start w/: What is race? I wish I’d documented but the wild/racist propaganda esp targeting young men shows up way more often now in my course, it’s chilling!

She’s mad that Bad Bunny who is Puerto Rican and primarily sings in Spanish (and is a fucking ICON) is headlining the superbowl, she also thinks you should have to sing in English at other non sporting events. And I bet she was stone cold sober and she’s really not very good at not speaking Spanish

I’m terrified for our campus communities! The CSU is under 2 federal investigations. And, alarmingly “Cal State LA was subpoenaed by EEOC to turn over the PERSONAL phone numbers and email addresses of ALL EMPLOYEES.” They want a LIST of ALL employees! This is so dangerous!
