They're working on it. They tried the "virtual measurement" stuff in NFL preseason, but it was still clunky. I'm guessing it's still 3-4 years away.

In this case, that marker almost doesn't matter because of the fair catch on the kickoff. The line to gain was very clear.

We have a Kia Sorrento with this feature. It doesn't self-drive. If it can determine the lines demarking your lane, it adjusts the wheel to keep you in the lane. You can push through it if you want, and using the turn signal temporarily disables it. But it's definitely annoying.

I kinda wish the Seahawks would just sell out for everything short early in the game and dare the Vikings to beat them deep. Risky with JJ on their team, but that could force an early turnover/sack or two and get the new kid rattled.

He's about normal size for an NFL QB, has an above average arm, and good receivers.
I expect he'll be asked to get rid of the ball quickly, because their line can't protect.
Also, they're probably going to try and run a lot.
If we get out to a two-score lead, this could get ugly until the 4th.

Yeah, I've long thought rights should be forfeited if you don't use them for some (and I don't have an answer for how long) period of time. Or that, after some period of non-use, you have to pay to renew them. Something like that.

The play call was horrible, definitely, but I have no issues with going for two, and would have done so before the penalty.
