Enjoyed Tron Ares. Wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. Jared Leto is still a net negative but he’s mostly inoffensive in this. You mostly watch this for the OST and suspension of disbelief lol

I think it's the first time I really sat back and thought about oversaturation and how I really didn't want more things padding out the stories than what was presented, and it's weird because a lot of that carried well into current SW (like Han Solo's name, or Chewy's name, etc)

The Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars was my first "Oh... I don't think I like this" and then the 3d Clone Wars series I was like "Oh ok maybe I don't like Star Wars anymore" lol

Then I realized the reason I like the OT is how they portray the Jedi in contrast to the prequels.

I'm the opposite- I welcome having tons of variety in terms of audience, rating, genre, etc in comic book adaptations. Marvel has constantly released the same kind of comedy action movie for years and every time they try to say they're doing something different it ends up being the same 😅

Well that’s kind of the reality of it tbh- you submit, you get either a horrible response or one that doesn’t work, and you have to brute force workarounds that you can use next time. In my case, I get correct info from a platform and they tell me GM got it way wrong haha

I want them to excel because there's a lot of room for improvement and a lot of obvious ways to make things better, and it's just... not. It's very foot in mouth and head up asshole with a lot of stuff, and when there is strong competition, they need to focus on that.

Truthfully that'd be fine, because at that point I can just use the console support from each respective platform (which has been IMMENSELY helpful even in correcting major mistakes in GM's docs)

I was avoiding Godot because of the needing a 3rd party to port thing, but after finding out that's just because you have to make your own libraries it's like "Oh... I have the console docs anyway", so I can probably just do that. It'll take time to build up though.
