The performances were great. Hearing the Garfields toss off R-rated language was very weird as they were very religiously conservative, & some amazing parts of the story were skipped. Dark Horse by Kenneth Ackerman & Destiny of the Republic by Candace Millard make a nice two-part read.

What I hear from that student is something that I realized during #MeToo: The world is not short on creative, expert talent. If someone with gifts is a predator, racist, homophobe, etc., the world isn't reliant on their Very Special Gifts; find someone with those same gifts who isn't an asshole

This is why I have a hard time with the whole "win over Trump supporters with patient logic" strategy. I don't have enough breaths left in my life to waste them on convincing people who don't want to be convinced that raping kids is wrong (or kidnapping, starving, deporting, or enslaving them).
