Also, my message isn't meant to be hostile, lol. It's just that a lot of news about Iceland from foreign sources tends to be exaggerated, not well researched, or just wrong. Take for example, Grindavík. Some sources reported it as the apocalypse. But nothing was really happening outside town!

I was able to build and run it locally. Excellent! (I'm posting from Deer localhost). Are you running it in production mode in a docker container? Or something else?

Would require the government to regulate who can get online, which, no matter how anonymously or securely it's implemented, would cause so many problems.

I have lived in Iceland for 10+ years. Union contracts are around 36 to 37.5 hours. 37.5 hours is 5 days/week (7.5 hrs/day). 4 day workweeks were limited to some city employees. Iceland has more of a working culture than other Nordics. Maybe some sectors are working 4 days, but not the tech sector.

I am pretty certain this only applies to a small segment of the population. Most people I know in Iceland work 5 days per week.
