I've finally suffered through Itch's messed up format when it comes to image placements, and completed the team showcase on the game page with their social pages set up! Whipped up the UI stuff on this one myself~

Also, we're nearly at the last batch of character designs for Chapter 1. Was debating on having the background/NPC characters have sprites, but I noticed other VNs did it just fine, and it wouldn't make sense for characters that have like five minutes of game time before never existing again lol

Just realized that the image alignment for the game page is borked on mobile. Because while everyone else's picture rearranges itself just fine, mine is offset. It's driving me nuts!
At this point, I'll be at this for another two hours 🫠

Exodus is setting up something much bigger in the future (hopefully). Maybe one day, I'll get everybody on board. But for now, we're paving the road to that being a possibility 😌

I think I wanna try going full time with making visual novels. Specifically working on Exodus. But with how things have been lately with the whole Itch delisting adult games thing, Steam doing the same thing, and Patreon shutting down adult projects, does anyone know how else this could work? :0

So after a bit of time searching, we have two potential candidates for a new main artist. Both specializing in two different art styles. One is more realistic line art type style, the other is a more cartoon style 👀

So the big reveal is that we’re moving studios!
The folks over at Starlight Tactlies have graciously offered us to join them in a studio merger. This will mean that Cleaved has a wider support network to improve and streamline our production.

I did some writing on Exodus, notable rewrites for the end of Chapter 1, and the start of Chapter 2. Apart from that, nothing else has been happening.
I'm still waiting on a bunch of updates from certain team members, but it's been radio silent.

Have had a lot of time to myself lately since the hiatus. A lot of things going on in my life, as well as others in it that just makes it harder to keep going.
On top of that, I really don't know when we'll get to this other smaller project. Haven't been told what the plan was yet.
