It started with 2025 registration renewals. I recently got a letter in the mail about it from PennDot. They call it a “Road User Charge”.

PA is already doing the same thing for an extra fee for hybrid/electric vehicles. While I’m okay with the fee, I am annoyed that buggies are not taxed and the gas tax money goes to state trooper overtime not roads.
