These arent exactly the most profitable or accessible career paths to aspiring developers, artists and performers.
I think everyone deserves to be credited for their work.
I find it particularly galling that the company is essentially trying to ensure they won't launch another Jes or Blanche etc.

Losing some of their big names hurt them. People flocked to competitors that took on or were founded by beloved Ex GW personalities. The odds of their junior staff repeating that are slim.

Seeing it on the shows is also maddening. How does a VA make a name for themself when they're uncredited.

If it were about protecting people through the shield of anonymity (objectively not a great strategy anyway) you'd see them take a very different tune with this elsewhere.

It smacks of trying to prioritise loyalty to the IP, not its contributors. Can't have people flocking to wherever they go next.
