As nasty and evil as Mike Johnson is, worse are the people who put him there and will not recall him. It's possible with a decent population.

Just an aside. If all guys sat down to pee, bathrooms would not smell so vile. Basic principles of physics tell you that liquid poured into other liquid at a distance - even a short distance - is going to splatter.

The fact that there are 28% who don't tell as you all you have to know. Most of those 28% are probably in Congress, and are there because many of the 78% voted for them. To quote Pogo, "we have seen the enemy and it is us."

It just goes to show democracy looks great on paper, but does not and has never worked as advertised. It has the same fatal flaw as every other organizational structure, be a government or religion. Human beings. Apparently the most ignorant and inhumane genes float to the top of the gene pool.
