Dry January can be a good time to think about prostate health. Alcohol isn’t proven to cause prostate cancer, but drinking less can support overall health by improving sleep, reducing inflammation, and helping with weight management.

Prostate cancer often has no early symptoms, but a simple PSA blood test can help detect it early, when it’s most treatable. On World Cancer Day this year, we are offering FREE PSA testing at Guildford Cathedral for eligible men.
Pre-booking essential.

As people come together this Christmas, it’s a good moment to check in with the men you love. A simple conversation about prostate cancer - and the importance of early testing - can make a real difference. Talking openly could help someone you care about spot a risk sooner.

A PSA test is quick & simple blood test - nothing embarrassing or invasive.
It can help detect prostate cancer early, often before symptoms appear.
If you’re over 50, you have the right to ask your GP for a PSA test, even without symptoms or family history.
